The new TP link system is constantly good giving me above 35-40 mbps all across the house over wireless , the sky network is constantly still dropping out and am only getting between 0 and 20mbps over wireless this includes the 3 sky boosters we have which are supposed to help and keep the signal boosted. sky advised us to up to the max £10 to get a faster speed,the max we can get is 4.5 meg, do you think i need a new a new router as it is really pissing me off now.do you think i should go back to virgin's 2meg at least it was stable with no drop out's .
router dropping out constantly of which this is the second router I have had, I never had a problem when I had a BT router. i have 2 open reach engineers out this month alone. But still have the same issues. Engineer said the only way I would get guaranteed speed would be if I was put on 80/20 download /upload
After weeks of my broadband dropping out at least 20 times a day. I changed the router from the 12v version of the sky q router to the 240v version. This stabilised it be I still experienced drop out…
I have just left sky broadband and gone… I have just left sky broadband and gone back to BT. I have gone from constant dropping out of WiFi and download speeds of around 7mb to a very stable connection and 60mb download with BT! All on the same line! So all the crap Sky kept telling me for the reasons it wouldnt work were just lies.
